Bhartiya Rail (Indian Railways) ko hamare desh ki "lifeline" kaha jata hai. Rozana karodon log iske zariye apne ghar, kaam aur manzil tak pahunchte hain. Lekin kya aapne kabhi socha hai ki is lifeline mein safar karne wale har insaan ka anubhav ek jaisa hota hai? Bilkul nahi!

​Haqeeqat toh yeh hai ki hamare desh mein trenon ke andar do tarah ke musafir hote hain. Ek woh jo "S-A-F-A-R" (Safar) karte hain, aur dusre woh jo "S-U-F-F-E-R" (Suffer/Pareshani) jhelte hain.

​Jo log aarthik roop se majboot hain, woh AC coaches ya sleeper class ki ticket book karate hain, aaram se apni seat par baithte hain, aur unka safar suhana hota hai. Unhe milti hai suvidha, space aur thodi si shanti.

​Lekin iske bilkul ulat, hamare desh ka ek bahut bada tabka—jo majdoor hain, chhote vyapari hain, ya low-income families se hain—unke naseeb mein aata hai General Coach.   • 17% Ka Uchhal: Yeh sankhya pichle saal yaani 2022-23 ke mukable lagbhag 17% zyada hai, jahan yeh aankda 609 crore ke aas-pass tha.
  • Rozana Ka Bojh: Agar is poore saal ke aankde ko rozana ke hisab se dekha jaye, toh har din lagbhag 1 crore 78 lakh log inhi behadd bheed-bhaad wale general dibbon mein safar karte hain.
  • Sabse Badi Wajah: Bharat ki lagbhag 85% se 90% aabadi inhi unreserved dibbon par nirbhar hai kyunki inki tickets behadd sasti hoti hain. Ek aam majdoor jo roz ka 300-400 kamata hai, uske liye AC ya Sleeper ka kharcha uthana namumkin hai.


    Kshamta Se 5 Guna Zyada Bojh

    ​Ek standard general dibbe (coach) ki seating capacity lagbhag 90 se 100 logon ki hoti hai. Lekin agar aap kabhi kisi festival season ya normal dino mein bhi kisi general coach ko dekhenge, toh wahan 400 se 500 log thuse hue hote hain.

    ​Log seaton ke upar, luggage racks par aur yahan tak ki toilet ke andar sone ko majboor hain. Bheed itni hoti hai ki log chal nahi sakte, aur emergency ki sthiti mein bache ya buzurg bimar pad jate hain.

    ​Halaanki, sarkar ne is bheed ko kam karne ke liye Lok Sabha mein bataya hai ki Indian Railways lagbhag 2,500 naye general coaches jodne ja rahi hai aur aane wale waqt mein 10,000 non-AC coaches banane ka target rakha gaya hai. Yeh kadam sunne mein achha hai, lekin kya yeh karodon ki aabadi ke liye kafi hai?

    Aapka Kya Kehna Hai? Bullet trains aur high-speed AC trains chalana desh ke liye achha hai, isse desh ka infrastructure modern dikhta hai. Lekin hamesha yeh yaad rakhna hoga ki Bharat ki asli aabadi sleeper aur general coaches mein chalti hai.

    ​Sarkar ko VIP aur premium trenon ke sath-sath aam janta ki trenon ki sankhya ko dugna karna chahiye. Jab tak har ek majdoor aur aam insaan ko izzat ke sath baithne ki seat nahi milti, tab tak suvidhaon ka dindora peetna bekar hai. Trenon mein badhti bheed ko sirf naye coach jodkar nahi, balki poorv-yojana (advance planning) aur sasti trenon ki frequency badhakar hi theek kiya ja sakta hai.
